Famously a perfect centrepiece for your spread, it's a true dinner party fish. Many rate it as the tastiest flat fish that money can buy, and we can't help but agree. Its lean, delicate flesh is perfect for grilling or baking, and its mild, sweet flavour pairs well with a variety of seasonings and sauces. Turbot is a versatile fish that is low in fat and full of nutrition, making it a great choice for a healthy meal.
Our fish is fresh and landed to us on the day that we market it, and you'll never receive a frozen replacement. We think that this is the only way to experience fish as it should be, and we're so proud to be able to bring it directly to your door.
Our fresh Turbot is sustainably sourced from the cold waters of the North Atlantic and is of the highest quality. Its firm flesh and low fat content makes it a lean and healthy option for meals.

What size fish should I buy?
We recommend a serving size of 250g whole fish per person. That equates to around 120-160g of meat from a whole fish when filleted, or eaten off the bone.
Does everything come ready to cook?
All of our fish and seafood arrives ready to cook unless otherwise stated.
Some small species like sardines are delivered whole un-gutted, and will require gutting before being cooked. Please check product descriptions for more info.
Can I freeze my order?
All fresh fish in your order can be frozen in their packaging. If you are planning to freeze all or part of your order, we recommend doing so as soon as you receive your delivery for best quality.
To defrost, pop your fish into the fridge overnight. Once defrosted, consume within 24 hours.

What is the shelf life?
Everything comes direct from fishermen and producers, meaning most fish will arrive to you with at least 5 days shelf life. Some species like mackerel are best eaten within 3 days of delivery.
Every pack has a printed use by date for reference.
How is my order packed?
We ship all orders in temperature controlled packaging with ice packs to ensure it reaches you in top condition.
Plus, our packaging is 100% kerbside recyclable, meaning nothing goes to landfill, nor the oceans.
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before midnight Monday-Thursday arrive 48hours after.
Orders placed Friday-Sunday are delivered on Tuesday.
